Focus on current and emerging instructional practices, as well as classroom-based research. Offering graduate-level professional development, certificate programs, and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership: Instruction, TCNJ’s partnership with the Regional Training Center (RTC) is designed to meet the needs of certified educators through opportunities at multiple sites in New Jersey and online.

About the M.Ed.
The program gives teachers the skills to stimulate and challenge their students to become more actively involved in the learning process, to think critically and problem-solve, and to collaborate as they learn in the 21st Century classroom. Inquiry-based coursework encourages teachers to expand their concepts, skills, processes, and procedures, as well as content-area knowledge required for today’s classrooms and the classrooms of the future.
30 Credit Fully Accredited program
Offering three programs for licensed K-12 practitioners focused on Classroom Climate, The Differentiated Classroom, and Brain-Based Teaching, TCNJ/RTC’s certificate programs aim to provide teachers with the opportunity to expand their teaching strategies, processes, and structures, emphasizing methods that work best in teaching their curriculum, to reach every student.
15 Credit Certificate Program
Graduate-level professional development courses are available through the TCNJ/RTC partnership.
Up to two courses may be applied to a future TCNJ/RTC program
CAEP advances excellence in educator preparation through evidence-based accreditation that assures quality and supports continuous improvement to strengthen P-12 student learning.
